Briscoe's second outing...

... in an England in shirt gives another try, three now in total.

Well done to you Tom!

Out Foxed

It looks like Tony Smith in his infinite wisdom has dropped Peter Fox for Tom Briscoe.

Best of luck to Tom (and England) against the French!

(There will be a return to cheese related posts soon)

Spot the ball

I saw this comment today attached to an article on the local rags sport website and had to post it...
"Nobody can blame Hull fans for not wanting to pay £20
to watch from the South Stand at Craven
Park. It's like watching a subbuteo
match from the wrong end of a telescope."

A Good Cook(e) Book?

Can anyone recommend a good Cook(e) book?

A friend of mine recently asked advice of man called Neil in a book shop in Hull, but he didn't offer any advice.

I would like one with a recipe for a good Robin & Ale Pie would be nice, so long as it is well marinated.

A recipe for a Judas Cake would be nice too, these are usually found in the Czech Republic and have a shape that is supposed to represent the rope Judas used to hang himself.

Can any one help?
