Spot the ball

I saw this comment today attached to an article on the local rags sport website and had to post it...
"Nobody can blame Hull fans for not wanting to pay £20
to watch from the South Stand at Craven
Park. It's like watching a subbuteo
match from the wrong end of a telescope."

Beach Towel Wars

I did have to check the date when I read this, but it seems Thomas Cook have found a great way to extract money from German tourists, allowing them to pre-book sun loungers and umbrellas for a daily price of around €3 or €49 a week.

Hats off to Thomas Cook - if people are stupid enough to pay for it!

I have better things to spend my money on and do while I'm away.

Just a little blast from the past here - the old Carling Black Label advert...

CSN at the MEN

What a great gig - loads of CSN material, an acoustic Ruby Tuesday, some acoustic Dylan, a Graham Nash song I've neaver heard before, possibly called Cold Rain? Most impressive of all three Buffalo Springfield songs!
"Don't worry, we're going to do every song Dave Crosby can rember the words to!" Graham Nash
Pre show Picture!
Unfortunately you can't make out the hippy/morrocan throws and rugs!
